Dumpster rental pricing
How much does a roll-off cost in Kansas City? Our flat-rate pricing covers seven days; the bin price includes delivery — and pickup — so there are never any surprise fees.
Flat-rate Pricing by Container Yardage
Every Roll-Off in Kansas City is billed as a flat rate based on the 10, 20, 30, and 40-Yard volume selected for your project. We set each container on driveway boards to protect your property; this price covers the delivery, a seven-day rental, and the final haul. Heavier loads—like concrete, dirt, shingles, or mixed C&D Debris—often require a Lowboy to maintain the Weight Limit for the Tonnage allowed. You can review contractor jobsite pricing tiers or check local waste disposal regulations and tonnage rules to ensure your debris fits within Jackson County guidelines. Get pricing — (816) 687-2247.
Contractor accounts at Dumpster & Roll-Off Container Rental receive tiered pricing: two sheets sit side-by-side for residential and jobsite work. Our hooklift trucks haul each container to the site so we can swap a full dumpster for an empty one based on a scale ticket—providing accurate billing and net-30 invoicing for partners.
What the flat rate covers
- + Delivery to your driveway or jobsite
- + Seven-day standard rental period
- + Final pickup and haul to a licensed facility
- + Weight allowance up to the size capacity
- + Driveway plank protection on residential drops
How Our Roll-off Pricing Compares Locally
Ranges below reflect typical Kansas City projects with mixed household or light construction debris — pricing matches the going Twin Cities rate for the same roll-off yardage. Recurring volume work moves onto separate commercial billing rather than this single-haul sheet. Call (816) 687-2247 for dumpster pricing on your exact load.

10 yard
10-Yard Roll-Off
- Dimensions: 14′ × 7.5′ × 3.5′ · 2-ton allowance
- Weight overage: $50–$100 per ton over allowance
- Additional days: $10–$30 per day after 7-day window
A 10-yard container fits a single-room remodel or a small garage cleanout with ease because the weight limit caps the volume for heavy concrete or dirt.
$260 – $490
Flat-rate range
20 yard
20-Yard Roll-Off
- Dimensions: 22′ × 8′ × 4.5′ · 3-ton allowance
- Weight overage: $50–$100 per ton over allowance
- Additional days: $10–$30 per day after 7-day window
A 20-yard dumpster is sized for a large basement cleanout, and it works well for a roof tear-off of 30 squares when shingles are bagged.
$340 – $610
Flat-rate range
30 yard
30-Yard Roll-Off
- Dimensions: 22′ × 8′ × 6′ · 4-ton allowance
- Weight overage: $50–$100 per ton over allowance
- Additional days: $10–$30 per day after 7-day window
A 30-yard roll-off works for a whole-home cleanout or a multi-room remodel, since it has the volume for the framing waste from a large project.
$410 – $720
Flat-rate range
40 yard
40-Yard Roll-Off
- Dimensions: 22′ × 8′ × 8′ · 5-ton allowance
- Weight overage: $50–$100 per ton over allowance
- Additional days: $10–$30 per day after 7-day window
A 40-Yard Roll-Off Container manages heavy commercial demolition or large estate cleanouts while keeping weight under the limit for bulky, light loads like cabinetry or drywall.

Delivery and Pickup Costs Included
Flat-rate pricing covers standard delivery in Kansas City and Jackson County, including driveway-protected placement and pickup. The price includes a weight allowance—roofing or concrete may incur extra fees due to tonnage. Same-Day Swap-Outs or distant deliveries get line-item quotes. This model also applies to residential cleanout pricing scenarios, from basement cleanouts to estate debris. Call (816) 687-2247.
Standard Seven-day Rental Period and Extension Fees
Your rental includes a seven-day window starting at delivery. The full dumpster rental booking and delivery process explains how we track time and handle extensions. If you need to hold the container longer, daily rates apply or we can quote a multi-week hold for phased projects. Keeping the bin past the extension window starts a fresh seven-day rental period.
Prohibited materials that trigger surcharges
Liquid paint, automotive fluids, tires, electronics, refrigerators, and hazardous materials trigger surcharges or refusal of pickup. Ask about these items at booking so we can route them elsewhere for you.
Weight Overage Tonnage Charges per Ton
Each container has a published tonnage allowance for every haul. We weigh all loads of concrete, dirt, or shingles at the local transfer station; this provides a verifiable scale ticket rather than an estimate. Heavy loads are billed at a flat per-ton overage rate, so we often pair these services with commercial recurring billing options for our regular customers who move large amounts of debris.
Booking deposit and accepted payment methods
A modest booking deposit holds the delivery slot and applies to the final invoice. We accept credit card and ACH for residential orders, and offer business invoicing with net-15 or net-30 terms for contractor accounts.
